Doll Art? or news of the weird?

Before I discovered American Girls, Barbie was my doll of choice. I had Barbies galore and would spend hours dressing them and acting out scenes with the neighbor kids. Oh did i mention this is when I was a kid?Ii still have barbies, but they are the collectible kind now.

This morning i was wandering the internet as i always do and was shoched at the many ways Etsy Artists are using their dolls. I am not sure that i like all of them myself, but they are intriguing to look at. What do you think?

The road to an American Girl Doll

My niece was told by grandma that she would get a real American Girl Doll when she is 8 years old. Grandma, however, was not specific as to when in that year she would get it. Last Saturday was her 8th birthday party and what do you suppose the gift of the hour was? You guessed it! The day she long awaited had come at last.  Here is a picture review of the excitement complete with captions.
